How I work with new clients
Most engagements start with a 30–60 minute conversation to understand the technical scope and the deadline pressure. From there I quote a fixed scope for clearly-bounded problems, or hourly with a budget cap for open-ended diagnosis and longer R&D work.
Two engagement shapes: pure development, where I write and ship the work; or consulting, where I review, advise and diagnose while your team builds. The strongest track record is in ProAV, broadcast and high-tech industrial-embedded, but the same engineering fits anywhere software has to last in the field.
